When I'm not reading or writing, I enjoy walking barefoot and chasing my spirited daughter. I’m a rabid fan of coffee, moon-gazing, and small dogs that resemble Ewoks. Home is Portland, Oregon.
I love writing strong-willed heroines - usually sassy with a dose of nerd - who suffer from unexpected vulnerabilities. My heroes are just as complex and always flawed. What can I say? I like my men with a side of insufferable.
As for the types of stories I write, I don’t limit myself. I enjoy playing with tropes, flirting with literary fiction, exploring family dynamics, and putting my characters through hell. If pain is the cornerstone of growth, then my characters are world-class badasses.
